The map depicts Asgard's Reach, a legendary kingdom said to rise from the Nordic seas once every century, harboring knowledge that could transform human understanding. Partnering with master shipwright Matthias Nordahl, Klaus embarks on an impossible voyage into waters where the boundaries between the physical and mystical dissolve.
The Weight of Stones
Mary Costello is born into poverty and abuse in 1820s Ireland. After killing her cruel brother Padraig in self-defence at age 14, she discovers her talent for murder and systematically kills her remaining family members. She becomes a professional assassin, eventually serving the ancient bog entity An Dubhán, which feeds on death and terror.
The story explores themes of nature versus nurture, the banality of evil, how individual violence shapes historical forces, and whether people are responsible for their actions when those actions serve larger systemic purposes.

While many writers choose to specialise in either the bone-chilling terror of horror
or the wonder-filled escapism of fantasy,
I deliberately blur these boundaries to craft stories that are simultaneously haunting and magical,
terrifying and beautiful.
